To enrich the extracurricular experiences of international students, enhance their physical fitness, foster camaraderie, and promote a deeper understanding and connection to China, the College of International Education organized a series of diverse sports activities from April to May 2024.
The College of International Education organized a series of events—including tug-of-war, volleyball, soccer, cricket, and chess—to fully engage its students through both individual and team competitions. Each contest was lively and exhilarating, brimming with youthful energy and passion. Throughout the competitions, participants gave their all and remained in high spirits, exemplifying the motto "friendship first, competition second." Cheered on by their peers, they reveled in each game, overcoming challenges through teamwork and coordination while showcasing perseverance and determination. Through these activities, students not only experienced the joy of sports but also improved their physical fitness, fostered personal growth, and strengthened their resilience.
The initiative strengthened friendships and unity among international students, showcasing their positive and vibrant spirit. It enriched campus culture and extracurricular programs while fostering communication between faculty and students. Additionally, the initiative nurtured teamwork, collective pride, and a harmonious campus environment, further enhancing students' sense of belonging and connection to the university.
